Milo Kester is a London based artist who graduated from Goldsmiths University in 2018 with a first class honours degree in Fine Art. His practice is mainly based around sculpture and drawing. Through his practice Milo explores ideas of non-human agency and intelligence, looking at the communities of plants and fungi that make up forests; the microorganisms that live on and within us; and stromatolites, the fossilised structures of the ancient cities created by photosynthesising microbes. Some of his major aesthetic influences include the works of Lynn Chadwick and Thaddeus Mosley, as well as Science Fiction, and comics.
